  • When comparing the story board to the actual movie clip it is very similar. The story board only highlights the key things that need to happen in the clip like the starting scene when the woman is in the shower and the part when the killer walks through the door and opens the curtain,  the artists understand that its important to highlight the key scenes otherwise there would be no structure, no starting or ending point.
  • Some aspects are quite different in the storyboard for example the woman goes into the shower and then turns the shower on with a scene from the clip on the water falling directly onto the camera whereas in the storyboard drawings there is no image of the shower head. Another example is nearing the end of the movie clip the woman falls to the floor of her bathroom and then a close up picture is taken of her eye slowly shutting, they do not show that in the storyboard above.
  • The facial expressions of the woman in the storyboard are very similar to the facial expressions in the movie clip.
  • Some of the pictures in the storyboard are quite hard to determine what they are as they are just quick sketches.

The storyboard we did was from the woman in black opening sequence, in which the girls jump out of the window.  This was very difficult to capture the emotions of the girls, so next time we might look to use a computer to make it more accurate.
