HORROR FILM LOCATIONS IN THE UK AND THE WORLD
There are certain locations I have in mind and providing I plan and select sensible timing for filming I believe my shots can give the impression of isolation. This has got me thinking about how I might use sound as using live sound would mean you could hear voices in the background for this reason I also want to consider using post production sound. What this blog has helped me appreciate is that the atmosphere of a shot is important as it heightens the emotional state of a viewer and my job now is to find locations that will highlight that sense of emotional vulnerability. For health and safety reasons filming in an isolated area is not safe, therefore I will film in a place that I can make look isolated by my shots but it be safe to film there.
